Crock Pot & Cocktails: Winter Edition
Because the second half of winter is always easier with good friends, good food, and a really good drink in your hand.
January hits different. The holidays fade, the nights stretch on forever, and suddenly the “What’s for dinner?” question is back with a vengeance.
That’s exactly how these classes started in the first place—friends gathering in a warm kitchen to make life feel a little lighter, a little easier, and a whole lot more joyful.
On January 17, come shake off the mid-winter slump at The Supper Club in Nine Mile Falls for an evening that feels like the reset button you’ve been waiting for. Cozy lights, good music, the crackle of laughter bouncing off the walls, and the deep satisfaction of stocking your freezer with meals you’ll rely on all season long.

Meet Carson Torkelson — Mixologist, Hospitality Artist, and One of My Favorite Humans
Carson isn’t just a great bartender — he’s one of my best friends and truly one of the most creative mixologists in Spokane. He takes enormous pride in his craft, from the way he selects ingredients to the way he greets every single guest like he’s been waiting all day just to see you.
When I visit him at Radio Bar, I don’t even have to order. I walk in, get a friendly nod hello while he shakes a cocktail shaker, settle in, and just wait patiently for whatever perfect cocktail he’ll place in front of me. And every time, it’s intentional, magical, and exactly right.
At our class, he’ll be mixing three of his signature cocktails (or mocktails!), bringing the same warmth, creativity, and generosity he’s known for. If you’ve never experienced a Carson-made drink…you’re in for something special and exciting. He does things with fire sometimes!
Why This Night Matters
Because winter is long.
Because the post-holiday slump is real.
Because gathering around food with people who understand is healing.
Because laughter warms you in ways soup can’t (even when the soup is really, really good).
Because we get through seasons better when we get through them together.
Come fill your freezer, your cup, and your winter with something joyful —
we can’t wait to host you.
